Indeed, George Clooney is now filling in the "Cary Grant" post in Hollywood.

However, the question is, as George nears 50, does he have the staying power of Cary, or, as MsSanta asserts, was Cary simply a "fugly" dude pushed by Hollywood hipsters on women of the 50's and 60's desparate for some more Brando?

Posted by Beth 05/09/2007 at 08:08 PM

George Clooney is definitely hott -
Poor Paris - she doesn't even get to go to country club prison unless the Governator steps in on her behalf - she is off to the real deal. I read in the paper they serve no beef or pork - only one hot meal a day - and that meal is poultry based. I assume that means a reasonable facsimile of meat - not real meat. There are no cell phones or blackberries allowed. What is a celebutante to do?
And while I see the appeal of Tio Toni - he is a nice looking man- let there be no mistake that it is Uncle Miguel who is the hott one.

Posted by Lucy 05/09/2007 at 08:08 PM

Cary Grant wasn't FUGLY, there were just hotter people.

Robert Redford on the other hand veered pretty close to fugly.

James Dean > Marlon Brando > Clark Gable > Gregory Peck > Cary Grant > Robert Redford

I have no opinion on where Lew Hoad fits into this. And can we please leave Tio Toni out of it?

Posted by Beth 05/09/2007 at 08:09 PM

Mrs S - at least we agree about young Brando

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:12 PM

Beth, quit being gross and mentioning Paris Hilton and meat in the same paragraph 82 times.

I think I'm going to go ahead and start considering myself the George Clooney of TW. Yeah, I said it. And I meant it.

Posted by Beth 05/09/2007 at 08:12 PM

Jay - I think Michelle Pfeiffer married that guy who was the producer of Alli McBeal - and went into mother mode. And I don't think she is 60 yet- but definitely 50ish.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 08:12 PM

Jay you are late. We have previously established Grace Kelly's hottness and have moved on to wondering whether we would pay to watch a romantic comedy featuring her and Gilbert Gottfried.

Clooney does nothing for me either. He's like wall paper.

Cary Grant like Fernando Verdaco is fugly.

Lucy there is no one hotter than Brando. It is not a possibilty. I have equations to prove it.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:16 PM

Yeah, Beth, David E. Kelley, who has continued his penchant for outlandish television on Boston Legal.

I know, Santa, I was just agreeing about the Kellyhottness. I know how much my opinion counts.

Brando--hmmm...anyone have images from The Island of Dr. Moreau to burst that bubble?? That, apparently, is what hottness turns into eventually.

Posted by Beth 05/09/2007 at 08:16 PM

sorry , Jay:(- I did not mean to make you ill.
I will not discuss the jail bound Paris the heiress again - for alas I must go out for a while. I am sure you guys will have moved on by the time I return.
Talk to you later.

Posted by Lucy 05/09/2007 at 08:17 PM

Fernando Verdasco is not... oh never mind.

*keeps Verdasco for herself*

The attractiveness of one person in a pairing does nothing to mitigate the grossness of the other party. Even if the attractive half is Grace Kelly.

Posted by Sherlock 05/09/2007 at 08:17 PM

Jay, dissing Michelle is dangerous ground, my friend. :)

Grace Kelly. Mmm, yes. Young Liz Taylor anyone?

Brando is completely overrated. He begs for mercy when Tari's Mitchum comes around.

Posted by highpockets 05/09/2007 at 08:20 PM

Paul Newman WAS very hott.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:23 PM

Dude, Michelle was so hott for so many years. The only thing I would diss about her would be her awful singing in Grease 2 (Cool Rider, anyone?). I'm just worried that she's trapped somewhere in Jane Fonda's age chamber.

I liked Gilbert Godfrey as the parrot in Aladdin (Iago?). And he did a really good roast of someone, but I can't remember who. Gilbert could be Grace's funny parrot in a romantic comedy celebrating avian love.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 08:24 PM

Your opinion on the Kelly Gilbert Gottfired pairing is very important Jay. Do you have any thoughts?

Lucy that was my theory. But apparently not.

Part of being hot is having the decency to stick around, decay and get egregiously fat so that all those people who envied you when you were good looking can feel better about themselves. James dean didn't bother with that so pffft.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:30 PM

God-Frey. How's that for phonetic spelling? I'm kind of digging this avian love comedy...Grace could contract bird flu for a little bit of drama, too.

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 08:39 PM

Hey Jay - Gian Marco and Kenny Chesney need to do a duet for this. Separated at birth.

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 08:42 PM

I agree that Michelle did a really good job as catwoman. However, she lost me with that "Up close and personal" garbage.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 08:47 PM

*Drops a keg on Sanja's head*

Sorry Ray. She messed with me.

Jay Gian Marco looks nothing like Kenny Chesney. He neither sucks nor wears stupid hats. Also he works for cheap can probably throw in a soundtrack for Masha on a Mountain for free.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:48 PM

Sanja! Ahahaha. I heard Kenny Chesney doesn't do duets anymore because he is NOT gay. Just kidding, but he was really defensive about it all on 60 Minutes. I wonder if he did the interview with a puka necklace on...mental rolodex failing...hmm.

Up Close and Personal. All I can hear is that really long Celine Dion note and Robert lifting a wet Michelle up out of the ocean for no good reason.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 08:53 PM

I had to google Gian and he kind of looks like Ron Jeremy. No, he looks A LOT like Ron Jeremy.

I am pretty desperate for Masha on a Mountain soundtrack participants. I'm thinking about seeing how many sounds of my own voice I can overlap together to make some kind of music. There has got to be a computer program out there for such an awful idea.

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 08:55 PM

Oh Kenny! Please just this once.

Masha's got taste she's totally going with La Flaca.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 08:56 PM

"I had to google Gian and he kind of looks like Ron Jeremy"

What? What??????????????? Santa is keeping Masha's serve forever. She will be losing Wimbledon second round matches to Mara frickin Santangelo indefinitely.

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 09:00 PM

What? He looks nothing like Ron "the pride of NY" Jeremy.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 09:02 PM

Oh, maybe it was a picture of he and Ron Jeremy. I am a horrible googler. I really have no patience for it. Quit making me google obscure spanish singers!

Give back Masha's serve! Honest mistake!

Posted by Ray Stonada 05/09/2007 at 09:13 PM

It's okay, Mrs. S., I understand. My Sanja can be headstrong.

I am disgusted because I was eating roast pork and rice from the Dominican lunch counter for dinner and a piece of pork skin still had little bristly hairs all over it. I'm not kidding.

See Jay? The big bad city!

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 09:17 PM

Ewww, Ray. That IS disgusting.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 09:20 PM

What is with the gross meat stories tonight? New York City...how's about a meaty surprise?

Let me guess, Ray, this was after you rode the nasty subway today? God, the inhumanity of it all.

Posted by Ray Stonada 05/09/2007 at 09:26 PM

Nope, I walked everywhere today, Jayboy. It was so perfect out.

You're so lucky the food in Columbus is universally clean and delicious and depilated.

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 09:33 PM

What do people eat in Columbus? Meat and potatoes right?

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 09:34 PM

It was hot here today. 86. My steering wheel could hardly handle it. I need to get one of those leopard-print furry ones, apparently. That would be sexy.

Yes, thankfully, the Chinese I had the other day only had one hair in it that may or may not have been from the restaurant. But you could have performed thumbnail surgery on my sterile/wrapped fortune cookie.

Posted by Jay 05/09/2007 at 09:39 PM

People in Columbus subsist only on buckeyes. And the criminals are really friendly here. My car has only been broken into once, which was awesome. But I'm sure they felt really bad about it.

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 09:53 PM

I have to say I hadn't heard of a buckeye before (we don't have them in Boston):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_Buckeye

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 10:13 PM

Gian Marco is to Chesney as Moya is to Seagal.

(does that bring up standard testing nightmares to everyone?)

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 10:29 PM

Carlos and Seagal is an intelligent comparison. Gian Marco Chesney is merely blasphemy.

All this Gian Marco hateration is so hurtful when and all I was doing was trying to help Tim appreciate Rafa.

Up until this very moment I had no idea what a buckeye was. I thought it was a nickname for Ohio. The midwest is very mysterious.

TTC needs new programming very badly.

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 10:42 PM

MrsS: I'm with you. I don't get the Gian Marco/Chesney thing. Chesney is so unattractive. But Moya/Seagal...well, that one pic, for sure (sorry, Luce).

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 10:47 PM

Tari bite your tongue! It's obviouso.

Just wait until I find a cowboyhatless pic of Chesney. It's uncanny.

Where is Lucy anyway? I need backup.

I was certain (not sure why) that a buckeye was an animal. It's a tree?! What? Teams named after flora things? Don't get it.

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 10:53 PM

Nope. Sanja, I just took another look, and I've never seen Gian Marco before browsing Google images tonight, but he's pleasant looking and attractive, and Kenny Chesney is not. Chesney is greatly helped by the cowboy hat, to boot. Yick.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 10:55 PM

*Hugs Tari while dancing on the remnants of Sanja*

Let us never bring up the Chesney again. Unless he does some free work for one of Jay's imaginary movies.

John Mayer's new haircut makes him look like Fed.

Posted by AmyLu 05/09/2007 at 10:56 PM

*pokes head in upon seeing the word buckeye*

Sanja, a buckeye is a nut that grows upon a tree - so it's a tree in the sense of an apple tree. The Buckeyes of Ohio State refer to the nut itself, which is poisonous. I almost killed my dog when I was six because I left buckeyes on the floor of my bedroom, and my dog ate them - and had to have his stomach pumped.

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 10:58 PM

Tarissimi - Ai Carumba!

Posted by 05/09/2007 at 11:03 PM

Aww...Sanja. I'm sorry. Tarissimi almost makes me reconsider, but I have a scar from a Jameson's bottle that always looms large in the scope of things. :)

That, and the fact that I don't want to be a remnant.

Can we still hang out at the USO? :)

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 11:04 PM

Me. Above.

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 11:11 PM

Well that makes more sense AmyLu. Poisonous nuts. Much better than Flora. : )

The Chesney references will never die. Jay where are you? Lucy? Anyone?

Posted by jb 05/09/2007 at 11:18 PM

buckeye's look like chestnuts - both of which can be reproduced in peanut butter and chocolate candies. yum.

cary grant was hott. and suave. I shall bonk nay-sayers over the head with... well.. *thinks seriously* with a bottle of canadian club. (its in my liquor cabinet and I'm certainly NOT wasting something GOOD on someone who doesn't think cary was hott)

Gregory Peck in Spellbound. Hott.
Paul Newman in Long Hot Summer. Hotter.
Steve McQueen - great escape. mhm - very very hott.

brando - on the waterfront. probably hottest.

*wanders off to find out who the heck gian marco is*

Posted by Lucy 05/09/2007 at 11:22 PM

*hugs Sanja*

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY can we agree never to invoke the Carlos/Steven Seagal comparison again? IT'S JUST BAD TASTE.

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 11:25 PM

jb, you rock! I like your list. Spellbound was a good example of Gregory Peck being very attractive. What did you think of Mitchum? Such a tough guy...

Posted by jb 05/09/2007 at 11:25 PM

gian marco / kenny chesney. not separated at birth. at all.

what the heck is up with chesney and the d-mn hat? or does he have an issue with the top of his head? perhaps he's run afoul of mrs s and her bottle of jameson's once too often, and must use the hat as protection?

Posted by Lucy 05/09/2007 at 11:25 PM

PS I totally knew what a buckeye was. I looked it up last year in the midst of all the football discussion. My cultural education is coming along nicely.

*flies the stars and stripes*

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 11:35 PM

I can see it now. Doubles match-Tari/MrsSanta vs. Sanja/Lucy what surface would all of you choose? Or would it be a mixed surface?

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 11:35 PM

jb you are back from Dublinia!! "The long hot summer" is the best chick flick in the history of ever, closely followed by the "Last of the Mohicans".

Gian Marco is Peruvian, unobscure, not at all like Kenny Chesney and he sets the mood perfectly for Rafa matches. Respect the Gian Marco!

Posted by Tari 05/09/2007 at 11:36 PM

Well, it wouldn't be clay, GSte! ;-)

'night, all!

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 11:38 PM

not surprised at that remark Tari. Sweet dreams, Tari, and I'm certain Federer will beat Volandri with relative ease.

Posted by jb 05/09/2007 at 11:39 PM

hey tari *waves*

mitchum - had that craggy been-there-done-that sexy thing going on. totally. great voice. attractive as all get out. imo of course. he'd inspire me to wear 3 inch heels and take up smoking..... (with 4 inch heels i'd tip over and NOT make a good impression....)

Posted by MrsSanta 05/09/2007 at 11:42 PM

Ground glass Gste.

By the way do you know if Chakvetadze is still injured?

Posted by GSte 05/09/2007 at 11:45 PM

Interest choice, MrsSanta. Apparently Tari doesn't care as long as it's "not clay". Sanja? Lucy?

About Chakvetadze, I haven't heard anything, but I know she's had shoulder problems before. I think she needs to add some more muscle to her arms in general. They're tiny. I think there could be 2 explanations for why she lost to Safarova:

a) the day before, she won 3-6 7-6 7-6 against Stosur, who is a heavy hitter.
b) Safarova's lefty hooks messed up her timing on clay.

Posted by jb 05/09/2007 at 11:52 PM

hey mrs S! yes - back from the land of eire... with great reluctance. Never saw last of the mohicans, though friends still go a bit gaga over mention of it! perhaps I shall add it to my list of 'things to see whilst tennis isnt on'.

Sigh, the only good thing is coming back to see Fed apparently found his clay sneaks. Looking at the highlites - he was moving really well. 'Course, because they were just higlights, he could have been stomping around like a 6 footed elephant the rest of the match and I wouldn't have known.

i suspect I missed a bit here but I didn't even try to catch up -just jumped in feet first!

Not dissin' gian marco a'tall, mind you, just not sure who he was. Totally prepared to love him. NOT so prepared re: chesney.... (though i'm sure he's a very nice person.)

Posted by Sanja 05/09/2007 at 11:55 PM

I've had a keg dumped on my head and I'll just let Kenny lyrics speak for themselves:

She thinks my tractor's sexy
It really turns her on
She's always staring at me
While I'm chuggin along
She likes the way it's pullin' while we're tillin' up the land
She's even kind of crazy 'bout my farmer's tan
She's the only one who really understands what gets me
She thinks my tractor's sexy

Posted by Lucy 05/09/2007 at 11:57 PM

Sanja. Unnecessary.

No surface preference here. I already feel guilty enough that I'm gonna let Sanja's team down.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/10/2007 at 12:00 AM

Thanks Gste. Her arms are tiny? I've never noticed that. I know she was exhausted but I'm still bummed because she's my pony this clay season. Nice point about L Saf's wierd lefty hook. Chak seems to be so good at deconstructing power games that I assumed she would get by Safarova easily on clay. Lefties are clearly evil.

JJ is the other player I expect to have nothing left by FO.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/10/2007 at 12:03 AM

"She thinks my tractor's sexy"

These are not a real lyrics. They cant be.

Posted by Sanja 05/10/2007 at 12:09 AM

Lucy no matter the surface we will WIN with Kenny "Gian Marco" Chesney on our side.

"We had a Keg in the closet pizza on the floor left over from the night before where we were going we didn't really care we had all we ever wanted in that keg in the closet"

Posted by GSte 05/10/2007 at 12:09 AM

well, perhaps not tiny, but of the top 32 players, only Hantuchova has more slender arms than Chakvetadze. You have to admit she's not the most physically imposing girl out there.

About Jankovic, her frequent playing is a double-edged sword. I agree she could run out of steam by the time the FO comes around. On the other hand, she's similar to Dementieva in that she seems to do well with more matches.

MrsSanta, you mean you DON'T own a tractor?

Posted by Lucy 05/10/2007 at 12:15 AM

Betcha if Mrs Santa DID have a tractor it would be a sexy one.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/10/2007 at 12:20 AM

Yep Chak coesn't do power which is why I find her interesting. Russian chicas are ball pounding machines and here comes Chak doing a very cool imitation of Hingis.

I hope you are right about JJ. I just see her flunking out in the third round at the FO.

Posted by MrsSanta 05/10/2007 at 12:21 AM

*Blows kisses at the Luce.*

Maybe that's what I should get for my birthday. A sexy tractor delivered by Juan Carlos Ferrero. Could someone arrange that?

Nite all.

Posted by highpockets 05/10/2007 at 12:26 AM

Steggy, love the tractor song. I recall hearing one that went something like this:

"She's my girl, my whole world, but that ain't my truck." It was about a guy who found another guy's truck in his driveway.

Yikes!

Posted by Beth 05/10/2007 at 12:40 AM

ahhh... country songs- always about cheatin' - I am probably the only one here - or are you still atound - highpockets? damn this west coast time - you guys go to bed and I am just gettin my turn at the computer.

Posted by highpockets 05/10/2007 at 12:52 AM

Hey Beth, I'm getting ready to turn in too ... just watching American Idol to see who got bumped.

Posted by Beth 05/10/2007 at 12:58 AM

oh- well- enjoy the show - I have not been watching it this year- got disgusted at the end of last year when Chris D got voted off and that bizarre dancing grey haired fellow won. Just could not put any faith in the show after that.
Hope your hand is feeling better - I read earlier you were not feeling too well. So good nite! Talk to you tomorrow.

Posted by highpockets 05/10/2007 at 01:08 AM

I thought Chris Daughtrey was great and was also very disappointed that that Taylor Hicks doofus won, but I for some reason I still have to watch the show ... it's usually DVR'd so I don't have to deal with commercials.

My hand is bothering me a little more today for some reason ... guess I've been trying to do too much too soon, but that's my M.O., so ...

G'night ... sweet dreams, Beth. Talk to you tomorrow.

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 08:00 AM

T,

I miss you

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 08:24 AM

I'm here, jac. My Tigers got their comeuppance last night...ugh.
Oh, well. I like the Mariners, so that's OK. But they'd better win the series. :)

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 08:28 AM

*smiling very broadly*
Hey Babe! Oh my gosh, it's been two long anguish filled days for me, T. But all better now. I'm sorry about your Tigers.
Can you watch any tennis at the mo?

*blows a kiss coz he feels great all of a sudden*

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 08:41 AM

Thanks, about the Tigers! I'm watching Roger now, but have to get to work here in a few.

Poor Andy... :(

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 08:44 AM

Yikes...Roger's broken on his first service game. Good thing I'm not panicking! Or hyperventilating... :)

I'm off to work. Take care, jac.

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 08:44 AM

Aww, T,

You're not going to leave so soon, are you.*suddenly feeling like a melting ice-cream*

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 08:53 AM

Have a real real nice day, T. But don't you work TOO hard, ok. I'll have your favorite chokie waiting for you when you return.

*seriously racking brains to remember exactly what kind was that chokie-maybe I can ask the neighbors*

Posted by ptenisnet 05/10/2007 at 09:32 AM

hey wassapening?

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 09:38 AM

Thanks, jac. :) You, too.

Hi ptenisnet.

Posted by ptenisnet 05/10/2007 at 09:41 AM

yo tari.
i cannot bear to watch the score board.

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 09:57 AM

Me either, pt. It will be a sad day for me... :(

Posted by ptenisnet 05/10/2007 at 09:58 AM

It seems like I missed all the action last night. I forgot about the locker room thread.

You think federer is playing hurt?

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 10:09 AM

Yeah. I think there's some sort of injury. But we probably won't hear about it.

Ah, well. I needed the rest this week. Have a bad cold now.

Posted by ptenisnet 05/10/2007 at 10:25 AM

aww tari. feel better.

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 10:39 AM

T,
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, babe.My suggestion-keep away from that other thread for a while-it's not nice there-bad memories and some seriously nasty people-you know you can always hang with me, right?

What else can I do?

Hi pt

Posted by Beth 05/10/2007 at 10:45 AM

"waves" to Tari, ptenisnet and Jac-
Tari - hope you are over your cold soon - must be well for mother's day.

Posted by steggy 05/10/2007 at 10:48 AM

I really don't know what's worse. Seeing Fed lose like that, or going to court this afternoon.

Maybe I'll call the dentist, make an appointment, and this day can *really* be one to forget.

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 10:55 AM

Hey T,

Guess what? I just got off the phone with that doctor in San Fran who's buying our condo in Thailand-and she will take possession of it on the 15 May-which rules out RG for us, for this year at least.

So my immediate plan is to go to N.Z and set up another business down there-I already have a Thai restaurant which is doing OK-but I've got a factory in Shanghai which makes these really cool cabinets, and I'm thinking of opening a store down there in NZ.

I also have a small factory in Bangkok which makes these really cool ethnic dresses if you like that kind of thing.(I can't think of any actress on TV right now who wears this sort of dress so that you could know what I'm talking about. Never mind

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 10:58 AM

Hey Beth,

I was really glad to hear you are well away from that fire in LA.

Posted by highpockets 05/10/2007 at 10:59 AM

*hugs Tari while wearing surgeon's mask*

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 11:21 AM

Hi, everyone. :) Thanks for the hugs!

Wow! Sounds like you're quite the businessman, jac.

I'm here to drown my sorrows. Mixing dirty martinis and serving Sam Adams so far...Cheers!

Posted by jac 05/10/2007 at 11:23 AM

Hey T,

I guess you ARE duking it out with those Rog bashers over there-but pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee stay out of the swing zone, ok.

I've got to go to work.

Take care, babe.

Posted by Beth 05/10/2007 at 11:32 AM

Thanks, jac, now get out there and conquer the world of business - have a good one!
Tari - all that negativity is really hard to deal with this early in the am - so I am here with ya- since it is only 8:30 here - I think I will start with some orange juice - maybe a little champagne in it.
BTW- tomorrow is my wedding anniversary - got to get out and find a card- and purchase some steaks for a romantic dinner.
Morning - highpockets! Here to join the fun?

Posted by Snoo Foo 05/10/2007 at 11:37 AM

I would love some red wine, like, hm, a really dry cab, yeah, at 11:30. It's just grape juice right? I'm so inexplicably upset, like someone moved my litterbox.

Posted by Beth 05/10/2007 at 11:39 AM

Snoo - In Italy it is perfectly normal to wine with lunch - so enjoy! We are at the Italian Open - right?

Posted by Tari 05/10/2007 at 11:39 AM

Aww...welcome, Beth and Snoo...I'm serving whatever. Bar's open!

I feel better already. :)

Hey Beth, happy to join you. Haven't had a drink in years, but fix me a Virgin Mary with extra tobasco, some Lawry's salt and a honkin' lime hanging on the edge.

" ... like someone moved my litterbox"

Snoo, perfect description of being "inexplicably upset."

I always figure that it is cocktail hour somewhere in the world-
I really don't drink that much - really I don't- HA!
Actually - went to a concert with some friends Saturday night - and met up with some of their friends who I had never met before. Let me tell you - i only thought I was a party girl. In comparison to these folks - I was a total lightweight. It was truly eye opening. And not necessarily in a good way - but it did make me feel better about myself.
