Had to jump in while 'poke is pretending to blow up some galaxy or something from across the room - my fave movie is actually the mini-series tetralogy of Larry McMurtry's "Lonesome Dove" saga. All four mini-series (two by hallmark, one HBO and one CBS) are really well done, faithful to the book, etc. But the four-part LD HBO one alone is awesome. At any rate, you get about 10 hours of the Woodrow Call and Gus McCrae bio, cradle to grave, and the "bad guys" (Blue Duck, Ahumado and Joey Garza will hold their own with any psycho villans in history. I'm being summoned - see you at 9-ish, other thread.

1 3/4 oz dark rum
1 small slice of butter
1 tsp brown sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Vanilla essence (or cloves)

Mix the butter, brown sugar, cninnamon, nutmeg and vanilla essense in the glass until it is creamy.
Pour in the rum and the boiling water over a teaspoon and mix well.

I’ve had it in a mug, but you could use irish coffee glasses, and actually, my recipe says a wine glass, but I’d try that.
I also have recipes for mulled wine and wassail, which you can make a vat of..
