Hi Jackie.
Now that's a topic. I will have to take this into serious consideration, and add the factor that my first choice would very probably be in Spanish, but i think there are several good options in English.
By the way, love your pick. If you ask me, better than the original. The guy reading the lyrics from his mobile makes it hilarious. "Hey, let's sing this, just because we can, but i have no idea of the lyrics, so i'll just do some karaoke from my mobile phone" |

Well, I'll beat Cayman Karen to it with the reggae touch. The song I'm posting has always been a favorite of mine; and coincidentallly, it was the first song on a mix of 33 songs put together by a fellow commenter on my old tennis forum (NYT). He solicited suggestions from all the other commenters and compiled the mix which remains one of my favorite CD's. (My suggestion/contribution was Cassandra Wilson's Time After Time; I was listening to her a lot at the time.)
Anyway, here it is. Eat your heart out, Karen! LOL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8onbDZmAwhE
I'm heading to Jamaica at 7:30 am tomorrow for a mini-family reunion, and I'm definitely taking my NYT Tennis form CD for my airplane and beach and poolside listening. |

YMCA from the Village People!

AM and Emma,
That song catapulted the group into stardom here in Spain. The thing is, they havent been able to deliver a similar one after that, at least in my opinion. Many of their other songs sound too similar to me.
By the way, AM, that was some pick. Obviously, a safe bet:) |

Ok so here's mine. Kings of Leon - King of the Rodeo from Lowlands 2007. Partly because lead singer Caleb gets mad at his brother Jared for messing up the bass line at the beginning of the song. haha check out his dirty look. Plus this performance is great - actually all their live performances are great.
