Ok, that linking thing was just a excuse to post this video. Now that's something.

Annie,
I love Smooth, great memories too!
My daughter keeps asking me why I'm listening to 'weird' songs and I'm thinking this could be the soundtrack of my life (of course that's a work in progress with many, many more to come, hopefully) ;-) |

gh, that's one of the few New Age songs I can abide. Fun tidbit: The original singers of the aboriginal Taiwanese chants sued the producer and the record company for using the chants without their permission, and the suit was eventually settled out of court. You can imagine what the dough would've been given the song's worldwide popularity. |

For all the Coldplay fans out there - haha No really when I saw this I saved it, because first C. Martin probably got a stern talking to from his security. Notice their massive freak out.. and then when he gets back from running around in the crowd he's too tired to finish the song. The madness starts around 2:50 for those not wanting to listen to Fix You. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZORJRMM1XM |

I should be getting quite a bit more done than continuing this lazy summer afternoon, but I always liked the line "we're already wet and we're gonna go swimming."

Plus, the video was clever, although I am sure there are many more deserving Phair songs. |

The Ocean is a great song
so many good Zeppelin tunes to choose from
one of my favorites is called Trampled Under Foot
and I love Rock and Roll - even though it now sadly is used in the background of Cadillac ads
sorry Whitney - I am not gonna bite - not gonna open up the Coldplay :)
Lleytsie - Jake's parody is sarcastic and insulting - but not necessarily R rated
at least not the version he sang for his mommy |

Dunlop, sure there are, but I did like the song. I know the album got panned by the critics, but who f*cking cares when the tune is that infectious? |

I have a friend who actually "dated " Slash

cause Missie chose it as her theme for video bio of her to be shown at her deb group presentation
It had all these cute little photos of her - my sweet child - from a baby to now
It was really perfect
She is my sweet child

My daughter and son in law have left her with us as they are off to some party with Sasha and John Digweed---a DJ group from the UK. Believe me, I have no idea who they are but my daughter seemed to think that they may not be in the US again any time soon so we have this baby to care for over night. |

My favourite album by Earth, Wind & Fire was "IAm...". Included "After The Love Is Gone, Boogie Wonderland" and other great tracks - not a dud among them.
My favourite song by The Police - Bring On the Night (saw them live a couple of times as a teenager):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBYPxDGdi-w&feature=related
Somehow most things Sting did after The Police never measured up.
Someone above mentioned Pink Floyd - I also saw them during their "The Wall" tour, I think in 1982. Here's the video for "Another Brick in the Wall":

Can't wait.
