AM, my guess at how rankings will go:
Coming into this week:
#10 Kim 3890 pts
#11 Sam 3565 pts
Kim stays at 3890 in next week's rankings.
If Sam loses tomorrow, she'll be at 3880 pts, #11, still 10 pts behind Kim.
If Sam wins tomorrow, she'll be at 4030 pts, in #10 (and just 50 pts behind Vika at #9) |

AM, actually not sure that's right; think Sam probably has to include Beijing as a Mandatory. In that case:
If Sam loses tomorrow, she'll be at 3825 pts, #11, 55 pts behind Kim.
If Sam wins tomorrow, she'll be at 3975 pts, #10, but 105 pts behind Vika at #9. |

Thanks, MA, for the info on Schiavone's titles. Franny is a favorite of mine; I always try to see her a the USO although I wans't pleased with her the year I saw her stop the nice run of Angela Haynes (my older son loves her!)to the third round of the USO.
Diane: My friend decided that, since I'd been tired and stressed out with all the house preparation stuff, we should skip "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and go instead to see the Tyler Perry movie -- hoping for some laughs. Well, that movie had just too many heavy moments for me -- especially those moments involving Janet Jackson which were supposedly filmed around the time of her brother Michael's death.
Hope to have more relaxation and laughs when I go with another friend to the Chris Rock movie, "Death at a Funeral," tomorrow.
Though the TP movie was a bit of a downer for me today, I did enjoy seeing the preview of a new movie called "Just Wright," starring Queen Latifah and Serena's man, Common. He is one good-looking, muscular guy. If I were 30 (or 40) years younger....:-) |

Ruth - I don't know about the current 'Death at a Funeral" but the English, earlier, by only about 7/9 years, is very funny. Great cast...including Rupert Graves. **le sigh** |

CL: Well, here's hoping that the American version of "Death at a Funeral" is as successful and funny a version of its English original as the great American TV show, "All in the Family," was of England's "Till Death Do Us Part"! I really want to see a good comedy with lots of laughs. |
